This season’s Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) top tier league is expected to commence in May with changes in the number of teams taking part expected.
The 2022 pre-season tournament, super cup, concluded on 27 March but the federation elected not to begin the season immediately.
“We are planning for a team managers’ meeting where we will deliberate on a few of the issues including the composition of the men’s league. We would like to have a second tier league but this is something we have to agree on with the stakeholders before we begin the league, tentatively, on the first weekend of May,” said fixtures secretary Charles Omondi.
